Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
US Treasury Settlements Project Analyst for a
contract right to hire assignment with one of our premier
financial services clients in
lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid schedule 3x week onsite
This role is to primarily support a materially important regulatory change within the US Treasury trading landscape. The SEC have finalized a rule to mandate the central clearing of certain US Treasury activity. As a Primary Dealer, Scotiabank has stood up a project to ensure compliance with the rule. This position will assist the New York Securities Settlements team, as a stakeholder in overarching US Treasury Clearing project.
Responsibilities :
- Attending project meetings
- Helping gather and document project requirements
- Assisting in test case design
- Assisting in IST and UAT
- Working with stakeholders from operations, the business lines, compliance and legal, and our project governance team
- Potentially attending industry sessions/updates
- Project implementation
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Operations
- 3+ years of experience with Fed Eligible Settlements
- 3+ years of experience with IMPACT, ADP, and/or BNY Treasury Edge
- Previous experience in settlements operational related project (testing/managing)
- Be able to work in a fast paced and group-oriented environment
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a Fed treasury settlement role
