Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Analysts to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Serve as a senior escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOC analysts, leading investigations of complex, critical, and high-visibility security incidents across enterprise environments.
Analyze threats across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, application, and data environments; coordinate incident containment, eradication, and recovery; and perform threat hunting, root-cause analysis, and detection tuning.
Develop and improve security detection content, incident response playbooks, investigation procedures, and remediation recommendations while supporting security monitoring and incident response operations.
Mentor junior and peer analysts, provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer, develop training materials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve SOC processes and security operations.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, security monitoring, incident investigation, and incident response, including advanced threat analysis and escalation responsibilities.
Technical Skills:
SIEM, Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering, EDR/XDR, SOAR, Network Security, Identity Security, Cloud Security
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations and Security Operations Center (SOC) environments involving continuous security monitoring, incident management, and threat response.
Experience investigating and responding to security threats across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, application, and enterprise data environments.
Experience applying cybersecurity frameworks and threat intelligence methodologies, including MITRE ATT&CK and NIST, to support threat detection, incident analysis, and security remediation.
Experience coordinating incident escalation, containment, recovery, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional remediation while strengthening security operations and organizational incident readiness.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
Certification Required
Not Specified — Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GCDA, or CISSP are preferred.

Experience with security platforms and tools such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Tenable, Rapid7, Cribl, and Cortex.
Knowledge of advanced SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, network, identity, and cloud security technologies, including detection development and response automation.
Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GCDA, CISSP, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials are preferred.
