Job Title: Senior Linux System Administrator Job ID:26-02003 Location: Raleigh, NC,27607 Duration: 5 months on W2 contract

Summary:

Seeking a Senior Linux Admin to support AWS/Hybrid cloud environments for Client applications. Responsible for managing RHEL systems, cloud infrastructure, and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Red Hat Linux servers (RHEL)
Manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, etc.)
Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Handle user access, security, and system hardening
Develop scripts (Bash/Python) and support automation tools
Manage backups, recovery, and documentation

Requirements:

Strong Linux (RHEL) administration experience
Hands-on AWS and cloud infrastructure experience
Scripting skills (Bash/Python)
Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and security
Knowledge of networking, DNS, HTTP, and related protocols
Experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Preferred:

Linux certifications (RHCE, LPIC)
Experience with Terraform, FSx/EFS, and advanced networking
