Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Test & Evaluation Engineer (Level 3) to join our team in Heath, OH.

Join the Boeing engineering team! Boeing is seeking an experienced production engineer to help transition products from design to production ready. This is a hands-on product engineering role focused on meeting requirements, testing, and troubleshooting product issues.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Supports the development and verification of test methods.
  • Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
  • Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact.
  • Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements.
  • Uses analytical tools to verify the design.
  • Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements.
  • Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
  • Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements.
  • Presents test results internally.
  • Archives data and reports.
  • Trains others.
  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting production in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge of military hardware
  • Experience starting production lines
  • Understanding of non conformance processes
  • Experience with vibration and thermal stress test setups
