About the Role
We are hiring a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to help grow a fast-paced IT solutions business focused on hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services offerings for mid-market clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in consultative sales environments, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and has experience managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to renewals. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience selling IT solutions within a VAR, MSP, or technology solutions environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through outbound prospecting and relationship building
- Manage and grow existing client accounts
- Identify client technology challenges and recommend tailored IT solutions
- Sell hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services offerings
- Manage full sales cycle activities including prospecting, quoting, renewals, and account growth
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasting
- Build strong relationships with vendor and distribution partners
- Stay current on evolving technologies, certifications, and industry trends
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to support customer success
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience selling IT products, services, or solutions
- Experience in a VAR or MSP environment strongly preferred
- Proven success generating net-new business
- Strong consultative B2B sales experience
- Mid-market client experience
- CRM management experience
- Strong communication skills within technical environments
