Location: Arlington VA (Remote)
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Note: Candidate Must be around DC/Virginia/Maryland area as they would need to travel to Pentagon office once or twice Every other week, But Mostly-REMOTE
MUST: Top Secret Clearance.
Job Description:
Location: Must be local to Arlington, VA - Mostly Remote Work but must be able to attend in-person/on-site meetings. Clearance Requirement: Must have ACTIVE SECRET
Required Skills: -
ServiceNow CSM/ITSM/HRSD configuration & extension (case lifecycle, SLAs, queues/routing/escalations; catalog items/record producers; approval flows) - Custom app + workflow development on ServiceNow (Flow Designer/Workflow, UI components, automated processes; JavaScript, Glide APIs; UI Policies/Client Scripts; Business Rules/Script Includes) - Case management process design (intake triage assignment resolution/closure; knowledge/self-service and deflection patterns) - Data, CMDB & service data management (imports/transform maps; maintain CMDB and related vendor/product/SKU/contract/certificate datasets; data quality/governance) - Security & regulated-environment delivery (ACLs/roles, auditability, least privilege; DoD/Army compliance awareness; domain separation if applicable) - UX validation & analytics (wireframes/prototypes; persona-based dashboards for compliance/spend optimization metrics)
Testing, release & operations (ATF basics, update sets/app packaging, promotion discipline; UAT planning/execution/reporting; go-live cutover + post-launch hypercare/knowledge transfer) - Agile & stakeholder delivery (requirements, solution design, documentation/training materials, demos; sprint planning and cross-team coordination) Preferred Skills: Integrations engineering (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub/spokes, MID Server; integrate with Google Cloud/AI services and other Army/3rd-party systems)
Day-to-day Responsibilities: Triage and work CSM enhancement/defect tickets; clarify requirements with the product owner (PO)/business SMEs. Configure case management components: case types, states, assignment rules, skills/queues, SLAs, templates. Build and maintain forms, lists, UI policies, client scripts, and basic Workspaces/Service Portal pages. Develop simple server-side logic: business rules, script includes, notifications, and scheduled jobs as needed. Create/adjust Flow Designer flows for routing, approvals, tasks, and customer communications. Support data activities: imports, transform maps, data fixes, and light data validation. Assist with integrations (as assigned): basic REST calls, troubleshooting payloads, coordinating with integration teams. Execute unit testing and regression testing, document test evidence, and support UAT fixes. Monitor and resolve platform/user issues (errors, performance symptoms, access/role problems) and escalate when needed. Maintain technical documentation (configuration notes, how-tos, runbooks) and contribute to knowledge articles. Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retros." Expected Deliverables: - Configured CSM user stories (case types, workflows/flows, routing/SLAs) moved to production - Defect fixes with documented root cause and validated resolution - Scripts/config artifacts (BRs, client scripts, script includes, UI policies) aligned to standards - Workspace/Service Portal updates (forms, layouts, widgets/pages as applicable) - Data deliverables (import sets/transform maps, data fixes) with reconciliation notes - Test evidence (unit/regression/UAT support) and release notes/change records - Technical documentation and updated knowledge articles (as required)
Education: 3+ years relevant module experience; ServiceNow CSA required; additional module certs preferred; Bachelor s Degree Travel: No Travel outside of in-person meetings local to Arlington, VA
