Summary

Responsibilities:

Support system architecture, component specification, and integration of robotic hardware and control software.
Develop and refine computer vision, motion planning, and control algorithms (ROS, Python/C++, PLC).
Ensure compliance with food safety protocols in robotic end-effectors and materials.
Participate in prototype development, lab testing, and field deployment at QSR test locations.
Design and test operator interfaces, performance dashboards, and data collection workflows (assembly times, error tracking, efficiency).
Contribute to documentation, troubleshooting, and process optimization for scalability.

Qualifications:

Master’s/PhD student in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience with robotic manipulators, computer vision, ROS, CAD, and rapid prototyping.
Interest in food robotics, HRI, or retail automation is a plus.
