SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant to support implementation and enhancement initiatives within the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SD processes, technical enhancements, integrations, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA SD module implementation and enhancement projects

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to:

  • Sales

  • Order management

  • Pricing

  • Shipping

  • Billing

  • Customer master data

• Configure SAP SD including:

  • Sales order types

  • Pricing procedures

  • Delivery processes

  • Billing processes

• Integrate SD with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and WM

• Prepare functional specifications and test cases

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Work across functional and technical teams to deliver solutions

Required Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD Consignment processes, including:

  • Fill-up

  • Issue

  • Returns

  • Settlement

• Deep understanding of end-to-end Sales & Distribution (SD) processes

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting:

  • Pricing routines

  • Copy controls

  • Output determination

• Experience identifying, designing, and validating enhancements, including:

  • User exits

  • BADIs

  • Enhancement spots

  • Custom routines

• Strong knowledge of IDoc processing, including monitoring, error resolution, and reprocessing

• Hands-on experience with interfaces and EDI integrations

• Ability to perform basic ABAP debugging

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to function as a techno-functional consultant, bridging business and technical requirements
