Business Intelligence Data Analyst
The Opportunity:

Explore our client's mission and data to discover new pathways to driving business decisions through intelligent representation of key data relationships, presenting trends, KPI's, and epiphanies in user-friendly power dashboards using PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients and executive leadership to discover, understand and define key business factors that help simplify complex leadership decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients, adapting communication style to audience needs.
• Communicate ideas and vision for dashboards and analytics to both end-users and developer teams.
• Design, develop, and optimize user-friendly advanced Power BI dashboards to deliver
• Leverage SQL Server and TSQL to access, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Collaborate closely with development and database team.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
• 2+ years of experience in Power BI, including dashboard design and data visualization
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server and TSQL
• Ability to operate largely independently, determine tasking a stakeholder engagement based on investigative analysis of business needs and data sources
• Ability to apply advanced analytical skills and data science to create actionable stories from user data
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or data science

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL, or NoSQL
• Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
• Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
