ServiceNow CMDB & ITAM Advisory Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB & ITAM Advisory Lead in Orlando, FL.

Summary:
The ServiceNow CMDB & ITAM Advisory Lead will partner with the client's technology and business stakeholders to assess the current CMDB and IT Asset Management operating model. The consultant will identify the root causes of data-quality, ownership, governance, and lifecycle-management challenges and recommend a practical target state aligned with ServiceNow best practices. The role will lead stakeholder discovery, evaluate existing processes and platform capabilities, and develop a prioritized remediation roadmap and recommended Phase 2 implementation approach.

Key Tasks:
* Assess Company's current CMDB and ITAM operating model
* Evaluate data completeness, accuracy, consistency, duplication, and freshness
* Identify gaps in ownership, stewardship, governance, and accountability
* Review asset and configuration lifecycle processes across participating teams
* Evaluate existing ServiceNow Discovery, integrations, reconciliation rules, and data sources
* Determine where process, technology, and organizational issues are contributing to data-quality challenges
* Define clear roles and responsibilities across infrastructure, application, security, procurement, ITSM, and asset-management teams
* Establish practical CMDB and ITAM governance principles and data-quality KPIs

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8-10+ years of experience in ITSM, CMDB, or IT Asset Management
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and related platform capabilities
* Experience leading enterprise CMDB/ITAM assessments, remediation initiatives, and transformation programs
* Experience with Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and end-to-end asset and CI lifecycle processes
* Experience defining governance models, ownership responsibilities, RACI frameworks, and data-quality KPIs
* Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB Health, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, reconciliation, and data-governance practices
* Strong stakeholder-management and facilitation skills across ITSM, infrastructure, cloud, applications, security, procurement, finance, and executive leadership
* Ability to evaluate authoritative data sources and integrations, including SCCM/MECM, Intune, Tanium, cloud platforms, and procurement systems
* Ability to translate technical findings into clear business implications, actionable recommendations, and a prioritized implementation roadmap

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
