Project Overview
This is a netnew application build supporting the CMX and Media organizations, focused on enabling and managing advertising and campaign execution across multiple pipelines.
The team is building an endtoend Campaign Management Portal that CMX business users can actively use not a throwaway MVP. The intent is to deliver a productionready application in phases, starting with a usable UI and backend foundation within 3 4 months. The platform will serve as a centralized web portal for campaign creation, orchestration, and visibility, integrating with downstream execution systems and EI agents via RESTful APIs and microservices. Architecture has already been defined; the immediate need is for strong builders who can execute against that design while contributing to refinements as the system evolves.
Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Google Cloud Platform, ElasticSearch, REST API's
Lead Engineer Expectations
- Handson development of core components (especially in early phases)
- Code reviews and technical guidance for the team
- Strong focus on delivery execution across all phases
- Over time (likely Phase 3), may shift toward:
- More architectural oversight
- Crossteam guidance and enablement
- Less daytoday coding, more technical leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a Reactbased web portal
- Design and implement Python/FastAPI microservices
- Develop and consume REST APIs to integrate with EI agents and downstream systems
- Implement efficient data access patterns across Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis
- Leverage Elasticsearch for searchdriven use cases
- Ensure applications are productionready and scalable on Kubernetes
- Own CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Jenkins
- Collaborate with other teams by providing technical guidance and architectural alignment
- Support future enhancements, including AIbased capabilities (nice to have, not required)
MustHave
- Strong experience building endtoend web applications
- Solid backend development in Python / FastAPI
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and microservices
- Handson experience with Postgres and/or MongoDB
- Kubernetes and CI/CD experience
- Cloud - Google Cloud Platform or similar
- Comfort working across frontend, backend, and DevOps
