Job Title: Senior Data Manager – Pricing, Data & Analytics

Position Summary

The Senior Data Manager (Pricing) is a hands-on data science and analytics leader who partners with the Pricing organization to drive margin expansion, visibility, and better decision-making through analytics products.

This role will serve as a primary data science and BI leader supporting pricing workflows, including dashboards, performance reporting, scalable analytics tools, and Python-based data pipelines. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Leadership

• Serve as the functional analytics leader for the Pricing organization.

• Translate pricing priorities into a scalable analytics roadmap and delivery plan.

• Establish standards for metric definitions, dashboard governance, and reporting.

• Lead collaboration with Pricing, Category, Sales, IT, and data teams.

• Prioritize, deliver, and maintain analytics products.

Power BI & Dashboard Development

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards.

• Develop dashboards for pricing performance, margin trends, operational tracking, and exception visibility.

• Create semantic models and governed datasets.

• Define KPIs and develop executive-ready dashboards.

• Improve dashboard usability, performance, and self-service capabilities.

Data Science & Python

• Use Python to develop repeatable analytics workflows.

• Perform data preparation, modeling, anomaly detection, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

• Build automated data pipelines and analysis templates.

• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify margin leakage and pricing opportunities.

Data Quality & Enablement

• Improve data integrity and usability for pricing analytics.

• Partner with master data and business teams on product attributes and category structures.

• Support data cleanup and data completeness initiatives.

• Develop tracking and reporting mechanisms for data quality.

Tooling & Pricing Platform Support

• Support evaluation and enablement of pricing platforms and analytics integrations.

• Ensure pricing data can be effectively consumed through BI and analytics platforms.

• Develop repeatable reporting packages for leadership and business reviews.

• Ensure analytics and metrics align with pricing profitability goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, semantic layers, and performance tuning.

• Strong proficiency in Python for analytics and automation.

• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter/Notebooks, and productionizing analytics workflows.

• Strong understanding of data science, BI, and analytics.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives through influence.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.

• Experience supporting Pricing, Revenue Management, or Commercial Analytics organizations.

• Experience working in multi-branch or multi-region environments.

• Experience building dashboards and tracking mechanisms for operational processes and data completeness.

• Familiarity with pricing governance concepts, including overrides, discounting controls, and margin leakage.

• Experience integrating analytics with enterprise systems and/or pricing platforms.
