Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Data Architect in Lincoln, RI.

Responsibilities:
* Translate business vision, goals, and requirements for data analytics projects and products into clear technical specifications
* Design fit-for-purpose data solutions using appropriate architectural patterns to meet current and future business needs
* Provide strategic direction for data architecture design, planning, and development, including guidance for enhancements and updates
* Apply a strong blend of IT, data governance, analytics, and creative problem-solving skills to deliver scalable solutions
* Play a key role in advancing the next-generation data ecosystem and operationalizing high-priority data and analytics initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (data, computer science, analytics, etc.) or equivalent experience
* 3-4 years of experience in data management, including integration, modeling, architecture, optimization, and data quality
* Strong understanding of business systems, processes, and their impact on data and analytics objectives
* Knowledge of BI, data engineering, data science, and data governance platforms and processes
* Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, SQL, and common data architecture frameworks
* Experience with metadata models, taxonomies, and applying structured techniques to semi-structured or unstructured data
* Skilled in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment environments
* Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and apply them to business needs
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
* Proven ability to manage time effectively, work independently or collaboratively, and handle competing priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
