As the Enterprise Agile Leader with our client, you ll be the driving force behind maturing Agile practices across the organization - bringing structure, consistency, and accountability to teams that are ready for change. You won t just coach from the sidelines. You ll own delivery, standardize tooling, lead quarterly planning, and build the foundations for scalable Agile at an enterprise level.
This role reports into the PMO and sits at the center of a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You ll partner directly with engineering teams, PMO leadership, and C-suite stakeholders (including the CIO) to drive real, measurable impact.
The ideal candidate is a polished, results-driven Agile leader with a strong program/project management backbone. You bring the discipline of a PM and the mindset of a change agent...and you know how to get things done in environments that aren t yet operating at full Agile maturity.
WHAT YOU LL OWN:
Agile Delivery & Scrum Standardization
- Drive consistency in how Scrum is executed across multiple delivery teams, including offshore contractors
- Provide oversight, guidance, and coaching to existing Scrum Masters to elevate performance and adherence to best practices
- Establish clear expectations around ceremonies, delivery execution, progress tracking, and accountability
- Conduct formal Agile assessments and define targeted improvement strategies to advance organizational maturity
Quarterly Planning & Portfolio Alignment
- Design and lead a structured quarterly planning process that aligns teams on priorities, cross-functional dependencies, and deliverables
- Bridge team-level execution with portfolio and business objectives, ensuring planning is purposeful and connected to strategy
- Partner with PMO and application leadership to move away from siloed planning and toward shared visibility and accountability
Hands-On Project & Program Management
- Own and deliver key App/Dev initiatives as a true player-coach, leading transformation while staying close to delivery
- Apply strong enterprise PM discipline: stakeholder coordination, risk management, execution oversight, and executive reporting
- Flex into broader PMO responsibilities as needed this is a role for someone who thrives wearing multiple hats
JIRA Ownership, Reporting & Governance
- Serve as the functional JIRA lead - driving standardization, configuration, governance, and adoption across teams
- Establish a clear hierarchy within JIRA to align team, program, and portfolio-level views
- Build and maintain dashboards and delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down, capacity) to give leadership real-time visibility
- Eliminate manual workarounds and spreadsheet dependency by establishing JIRA as the single source of truth
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of Agile delivery, program, or project management experience
- Proven Agile transformation experience - not just coaching, but driving real adoption and change
- Background in scaled Agile environments (SAFe or similar frameworks)
- Deep, hands-on JIRA expertise: standardization, reporting, workflows, and administration
- Strong executive presence and communication skills comfortable presenting to the C-suite
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and navigate organizational complexity
- Scrappy, adaptable mindset - able to build structure in imperfect environments and push progress forward
Nice-to-Haves:
- Certifications: CSM, SAFe/RTE, PMP, or PMC
- Experience working with hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments (e.g., integrating infrastructure teams)
- Product mindset or experience collaborating closely with product teams
