Position Overview
Oracle Planning Cloud Consultant
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Planning Cloud Consultant to design, implement, and support enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions using Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) / Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Oracle Planning Cloud applications (PBCS / EPBCS)
- Gather and analyze business requirements for financial planning and forecasting
- Design multidimensional data models, forms, dashboards, and reports
- Develop business rules using Calculation Manager
- Build integrations using Oracle Data Management, FDMEE, or REST APIs
- Create financial reports using Financial Reporting Studio and Smart View
- Perform data validation, testing (UAT), and deployment activities
- Provide end-user training and post-implementation support
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- 3–8+ years of experience in Oracle EPM / Planning Cloud implementations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Planning & Budgeting processes
- Financial forecasting and modeling
- Workforce and CapEx planning (EPBCS modules)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Business rules (Calc Scripts / Groovy scripting is a plus)
- Data integration and migration
- Metadata management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Smart View
- Good understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
