IT SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
SALARY: $127k - $147k plus discretionary bonus
LOCATION: Chicago, IL
Hybrid 3 days onsite minimum
BS degree, prefer PMP, 7 years minimum project management experience managing large enterprise projects - software implementations infrastructure stand-alone applications, mobile, web. large enterprise experience large consulting firm ERP HCM Supporting accounting finance human resources all core IT functions Ai tools like smart sheet, core IT, Asana, for legal teams Microsoft suite they are a large global law firm AI security azure windows CICD terraform it governance azure/DevOps, ARM bicep ITSM ServiceNow
Strong infrastructure experience supporting enterprise environments
Proven experience delivering user-facing, enterprise-wide software implementations
Background in large enterprise organizations, ideally:
o Large consulting firms
o Large corporate environments with complex stakeholders
Recent, hands-on project management execution experience is critical
o Consistent day-to-day delivery over the past 4 5 years minimum
Ability to contribute immediately from an execution standpoint
Focused on delivery and implementation, not primarily:
o Strategic leadership
o Program management
o Portfolio-level oversight -Strong infrastructure experience (hosting, data centers, cloud, network, security initiatives)
-Experience leading user-facing, enterprise-wide software implementations (e.g., ERP, HCM)
-Solid understanding of how systems are built, hosted, and secured, with the ability to partner closely with IT
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, 5 of those years focused on IT related projects.
Experience with various types of enterprise related IT projects to include enterprise software implementations, infrastructure, stand-alone applications, mobile or web development.
Bachelor s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Ability to manage 4 7 projects simultaneously
PMP certification preferred
Experience in law firms or top IT/professional services environments preferred
Demonstrated experience contributing to process and methodology improvements
Demonstrated knowledge and execution of project management practices, tools and methodologies, including an appropriate project management tool (Smartsheet, Asana, Planview, Microsoft Project, etc.)
Experience with transactional systems, particularly in the accounting, finance or human resources functional areas as well as core IT functions
