Location: Pasadena, CA (Fully On-Site)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Core Hours 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 Base Salary

About the Opportunity

An established and growing digital media organization is seeking a talented .NET Full Stack Engineer to join its Technology Team. This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance mission-critical internal and customer-facing applications that support a highly respected information platform.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence are highly valued. You will partner closely with product managers, technical leaders, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable applications and APIs that drive business impact.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing .NET applications and RESTful APIs.
• Build and optimize solutions using Azure cloud technologies and Azure SQL databases.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications and services.
• Perform testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support development and operational processes.
• Promote best practices in software design, coding standards, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2-7 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure SQL, cloud services, and messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus or similar technologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React.js or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Exposure to Telerik UI components.
• Knowledge of transactional email platforms such as SendGrid or Mailgun.
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as Datadog, FullStory, or Heap.
• Familiarity with support platforms such as Zendesk or Freshdesk.
