Job Title: Programmer Analyst 6

Location: Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote

Duration: Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Programmer Analyst 6 to join a small development team working in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment. The selected candidate will serve as a senior developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions supporting large-scale reimbursement and audit-related systems.

This role involves working on complex enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior developer on large-scale enterprise projects.
• Analyze requirements and user stories; provide accurate project estimations.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement applications across multiple technologies.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are incorporated into system design and implementation.
• Follow established SDLC and governance processes to maintain system integrity and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain secure web applications using industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
• Develop and execute unit and regression tests to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Utilize DevOps tools for backlog management, deployment, and source control.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience developing complex systems using C#/.NET and Java (Eclipse IDE).
• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript, SSRS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience with React.js and ES6+.
• 10+ years of advanced experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• 5+ years of experience developing and debugging complex SQL Server database objects including:
  • Stored Procedures
  • Functions
  • Triggers
  • Views
  • Tables
  • Linked Servers
• 5+ years of experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for Agile project management and reporting.
• 5+ years of experience with Git for version control and source code management.
• Strong experience building secure web applications and preventing vulnerabilities such as XSS and SQL injection.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud platforms including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot to support code generation, refactoring, documentation, and workflow efficiency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
