Job Role: Software Developer

Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 months contract role

Position Summary

Looking for a developer with Requires 8 -10 years of experience. Will work with minimal supervision and guidance from more seasoned consultants, and may also be expected to provide application support. Will assist with offshore coordination with offshore teams and collaborate with other programmers and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the software application.

Responsibilities:

o Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications for Advised Affluent Offering & also supports business units or supporting functions for Benefits online.

o Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies, software, hardware and tools.

o Java APIs and web development required.

o May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.

o Routine accountabilityis for technical knowledge and capabilities.

Primary Skill- spring boot

Required Qualifications

Experience in Core Java, developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets

Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ

Java APIs and web development required.

App Server experience in deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere or Tomcat or Apache.

Experience on WebApi

Working knowledge on Handlebar/ AngularJS/ React, JavaScript, jQuery, client-side technologies.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience of automated unit testing tools

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Groovy Framework is a plus

Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.

Experience in financial domain.

Ability to work in a Lean-Agile environment a plus
