Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior ETL Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with ETL development, SQL, data warehousing, data transformation, data quality, and cloud data platforms.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in ETL/Data Integration and Data Warehousing.

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or similar.

• Advanced SQL skills with strong experience in relational databases.

• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata, or similar databases.

• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, and ETL architecture.

• Experience developing complex data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, data quality, and error handling.

• Strong knowledge of stored procedures, views, functions, joins, indexes, and query optimization.

• Experience with batch processing, scheduling, monitoring, and production support.

• Experience with Python or Shell scripting for ETL automation is preferred.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and enterprise SDLC environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL workflows and data pipelines.

• Extract data from multiple sources and perform complex data transformation and integration.

• Develop reusable ETL components and framework-based solutions.

• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and database procedures.

• Perform source-to-target mapping and implement business transformation rules.

• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

• Monitor scheduled ETL jobs and troubleshoot production failures.

• Perform performance tuning of ETL workflows and database processes.

• Support data migration, data conversion, and integration projects.

• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, developers, and QA teams.

• Prepare technical documentation, data mappings, workflow specifications, and operational procedures.

• Participate in code reviews, release activities, and Agile ceremonies.

• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior ETL developers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform data services.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks, or Snowflake.

• Knowledge of PySpark / Apache Spark.

• Experience with cloud data lakes and data warehouses.

• Knowledge of Kafka or other data streaming technologies.

• Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, and security.
