Application Program Manager

 Develop understanding of the business environment and use that understanding to make 
informed decisions and drive results. 
 Define program goals and objectives for LADOTD modernization. 
 Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and 
budgets. 
 Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget. 
 Manage risks and communicate project status. 
 Ensure compliance with LADOTD and State standards. 
 Provide day-to-day support for ongoing processes. 
 Conduct ongoing evaluation and improvements for processes, providing data analysis 
support for the agency’s workload demands. 
 Manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed. 
 Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management. 
 Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met. 
 Ensure compliance with program management processes and standards. 
 Provide ongoing evaluation and improvements for program management processes and 
practices. 
 Provide day-to-day support for ongoing processes. 
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: 
 
 Ten (10) plus years of experience in  
o Program or project management, preferably application development 
o IT strategy, infrastructure design, and operational support for multi-site 
organizations 
o Business continuity planning and application migration 
o Application and process modernization 
 Strong understanding of data management principles and practices. 
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to 
senior management and stakeholders. 
 Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects 
simultaneously. 
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven 
decisions. 
 Experience with Agile development methodologies 
 
 
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:  
 
 Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies. 
 Familiarity with cloud platforms and data management technologies
