Shift: Tuesday thru Saturday

Requirements

3-5 years of experience

VMWare administrator

Patching and upgrading of MVWare products

Red Hat or Linux background

Moving toward Open Shift

PowerShell

Experience with firewalls, routing and networking

NSXT is an example, but not required

Familiarity with containerized workloads

KTGI, Kubernetes and Open Shift

Nice-to-Have

Job Description: This role provides infrastructure operations support for the company's private cloud environments, primarily focused on VMware and OpenShift platforms that host all enterprise applications and servers. As part of a 24/7 shift-based operations team, this person serves as the first line of defense-monitoring and responding to alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues as needed to ensure stability and availability of core infrastructure services. The position requires strong understanding of VMware technologies, a commitment to shift-based operational support, and the ability to work closely with application teams whose workloads run on the infrastructure the team manages.
