Summary
- Build and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for Ethernet compliance, integration, and performance validation.
- Develop PCAP/tcpdump tooling and fault-injection scripts for ARP, ICMP, FCS, link-loss, and recovery testing.
- Configure and manage VLAN (802.1Q) topologies across bench and HIL environments.
- Validate interoperability between network switches and sensors and ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Own technical documentation for frameworks, methodologies, and system configurations
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, SNMP, and VLAN configuration.
- Advanced Python and Bash scripting with test automation framework experience such as Pytest.
- Proficiency with Wireshark, iPerf, tcpdump, traceroute, and ethtool.
- Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience with the ability to debug across the OSI stack
- DoIP and UDS over IP experience.
- Automotive Ethernet standards including 100BASE-T1, BroadR-Reach, and H-MTD/FAKRA.
- IEEE 1588v2/PTP and 802.1AS time synchronization experience.
- Advanced Linux networking and HIL infrastructure experience including DAQ and relay-controlled power system
