Senior Systems Analyst – SmartPlant Materials

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with expertise in Hexagon SmartPlant Materials (SPM) to support the delivery, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise materials management solutions. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure SmartPlant Materials applications and interfaces effectively support operational and business objectives.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate requirements into scalable SmartPlant Materials solutions.
• Lead system configuration, application enhancements, interface development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Design and support integrations between SmartPlant Materials and related enterprise systems.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions, technical reviews, and application lifecycle planning.
• Collaborate with Change Management and Release Management teams to support successful software releases.
• Work within Agile delivery environments to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
• Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams to implement new functionality and system improvements.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and support ongoing operational stability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality, reliability, and process efficiency.
• Participate in rotational on-call support for critical production systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Hexagon SmartPlant Materials configuration and support.
• 5+ years of software development experience across analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong experience with PL/SQL and JavaScript.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, interfaces, and business process automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

A highly motivated systems analyst with deep SmartPlant Materials expertise, strong technical development skills, and experience delivering enterprise application solutions in Agile environments while supporting mission-critical business operations.
