A Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing an organization s local and wide area networks to ensure optimal performance and maximum uptime. This role involves creating system configurations, performing troubleshooting and break/fix support, documenting network processes, overseeing new network installations, and maintaining or upgrading existing infrastructure as needed.

• HPE Clearpass Network Access Controls (NAC)
• HPE UXI / Wyebot - Wireless & Network analysis/troubleshooting
• SD-WAN (Velocloud & EdgeConnect/Silverpeak)
• Routing Protocols, DHCP, DNS LAN/WAN, ACLs & VLAN
• Security Concepts Troubleshooting using SIEM & syslog logging systems
• Network Monitoring administration (SNMP, Netflow, WMI) Solarwinds experience a plus
• Incident Management & ITIL Framework (ServiceNow)
• Documentation - creating and maintaining Visio network diagrams & IPAM (Netbox)

• Proven experience providing periodic afterhours oncall support
• Handson experience traveling to remote sites to install, troubleshoot, manage, and maintain network infrastructure (10 25% travel required)
• Skilled in rackandstack, cabling, and working within colocation datacenter environments
• Experience with copper Ethernet, wireless technologies, and fiberbased network components
• An ITrelated bachelor s degree and relevant technical certifications are highly preferred

Duties:

• Develop and implement new network solutions, as well as enhance the efficiency of existing network infrastructure
• Install, configure, and support network hardware and software, including routers, switches, proxy servers, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
• Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maintain strong security and optimal network performance
• Monitor network performance on an ongoing basis and conduct troubleshooting as issues arise
• Plan and execute scheduled network upgrades
• Diagnose and resolve network faults
• Update network equipment with the latest firmware releases
• Provide regular network status reports to key stakeholders
• Travel as needed to install network equipment at new sites, upgrade existing locations, or support office relocations
