Job Description

"We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior IT Automation Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement automation solutions that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, software development, and network engineering, to drive the adoption of automation across the organization."

Required Skills:

Overall experience 6+ years in IT

4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and analytics, or related roles.

Comfortable to maneuver through Azure cloud services and offerings.

Hands-on experience with creating analytical models & dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau.

Develop in Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake as and when required.

Understand and adopt best practices in data engineering, data modeling and data integration to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of data solutions.

Good data analytical skills to analyze data and understand requirements of application and business teams.

Excellent knowledge experience in writing complex SQL and Kusto queries.

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.

Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, task management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to independently engage all stakeholders at onsite and offshore

Preferred Skills

Data modeling (Native HANA), TDV, SQL Scripting

Experience of ETL tools, preferably Talend & data Factory

Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (preferred).

Certifications in relevant BI and cloud technologies (preferably Azure PL300) are a plus.

Good knowledge of Logistics & SAP domain

Responsibilities:

Build analytics on Power BI & Tableau that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business/technical performance metrics.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data. Transform analyses into concrete, actionable recommendations to drive decision-making.

Responsible for correlating multiple metrics to show dependency and impact of changes in KPI

Responsible for development, update, upgrade and maintenance of analytical models and dashboards

Gather and process raw data at scale that meet functional / non-functional business requirements (including writing scripts, REST API calls, SQL Queries, etc.)

Responsible for developing data set processes for data modeling, mining etc

Develop complex SQL queries as required to support the analytics models & associated dashboards.

Exercise cost consciousness in data compute & storage usage
