Sr ETL Tester

Job Title: Senior ETL Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Tester with 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL testing, and data validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating complex ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting enterprise data migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
2. Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across multiple data sources.
3. Perform source-to-target data mapping validation and data reconciliation testing.
4. Execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
5. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools.
6. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data architects to understand data requirements.
7. Conduct data warehouse, data migration, and end-to-end integration testing.
8. Develop and maintain automated ETL testing frameworks where applicable.
9. Analyze data quality issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
10. Ensure compliance with testing standards, best practices, and project timelines.

Required Skills:

• ETL Testing, Data Warehouse Testing, SQL, Data Validation
• Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, or similar ETL tools
• Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping and data modeling
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
