Workday Finance Functional Consultant

Role Summary

• Seeking a Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Workday Financials to lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder engagement for finance transformation initiatives
• Workday Financials consulting experience and at least one end-to-end Workday Financials implementation experience
• Job Responsibilities
• Act as the primary Functional Consultant for Workday Financials implementations and enhancements
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and perform fit-gap analysis with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into Workday Finance solutions and functional design.s
• Configure and support Workday Financial modules and business processes
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery
• Support data validation testing, SITUAT defect resolution, and production deployment activities
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and user documentation
• Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous process improvements
• Ensure alignment with financial controls compliance and reporting requirements

• Experience supporting integrations, testing, and data validation activities
• Excellent communication and business consulting skills
• Workday Financials certification preferred
