CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking two Architectural Designers to join our Architecture & Structural Team in Portland, ME. In this role, you'll support the planning, design, documentation, and delivery of architectural projects across a variety of public and private markets. This is your opportunity to apply your technical skills, collaborate with experienced architects and multidisciplinary professionals, and help create functional, resilient, and inspiring spaces that make a lasting impact on communities.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop design and construction documents throughout all project phases using Revit and BIM/CAD platforms
  • Create 3D models, renderings, and visualizations that communicate design intent
  • Prepare drawings, details, schedules, and specifications that support project execution
  • Apply architectural design principles, building codes, and technical standards to project solutions
  • Research materials and building systems to support design development and detailing
  • Collaborate with project teams and consultants through design reviews and coordination efforts
  • Support BIM coordination, clash detection, and model development
  • Assist with construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field observations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation throughout project delivery

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional architectural experience required
  • Proficiency with Revit required
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of architecture and building design principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment with a willingness to support and learn from senior-level architects
  • Ability to travel to project sites or other offices as needed preferred

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
