Job Description
We are seeking a Teamcenter Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Teamcenter and NX administration, configuration, and end-user support and a proven ability to resolve L1/L2/L3 issues, onboard users, and deliver clear documentation and training.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for Teamcenter/NX problem resolution and drive systemic production issue remediation.
- Support daily Teamcenter/NX user issues and coordinate resolution with the team.
- Manage new user onboarding to Teamcenter and NX, including installation and access enablement.
- Resolve TC client setup, connection, workflow, data and process lock, TC-NX integration, and import/export issues.
- Support data transfers of parts, BOMs, and files with third-party applications integrated with Teamcenter.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT.
- Create Teamcenter user training materials and document FAQs for recurring issues.
- Document test cases for system integration and UAT.
- Troubleshoot and resolve TC-NX integration issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of direct experience with Teamcenter configuration and L1/L2/L3 support.
- Hands-on configuration and customization on server and client using BMIDE, ITK, C++, Java, and SOA.
- Expertise with latest Active Workspace configurations.
- Proficiency in BMIDE, TC-NX integrations, workflows, classification administration, project administration, and Access Manager.
- Proven daily user and admin support experience for Teamcenter and NX.
- Strong documentation skills for test cases and user training manuals.
- Knowledge of source control systems such as GitHub and Mercurial.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with breadth across the Teamcenter product suite.
- Effective teamwork and ability to work in an open team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-CAD administration and support experience.
- Support coverage for users in the APAC region.
Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree in a computer-related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
