IT Lab Computing Analyst
The Lab Computing Analyst provides technical laboratory services, including multi-vendor instruments, information technology, and validation/compliance services when applicable.
Required to analyze customer needs.
Need someone who understands IT/Lab Computing. Need GxP environment exp.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support of customer laboratory environments, typically for computers that are integrated with instrumentation
Manage lab computing aspects of installing new, retirement and relocating equipment
Implement Windows based security
Ensure adherence to client s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs
Create and maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PC s, software, and any other information pertinent to the environment if applicable
Perform system preventative maintenance based on client s schedule, if applicable
Required Skills:
Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests
Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the company and/or customer s site safety code
Qualifications:
Technical experience including (but not limited to); Windows technologies, networking, remote computing and backup systems
Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the company and/or customer s site safety code
Experience with virtual machine support (preferred)
Experience with scientific instrumentation (preferred)
