IT Business Analyst (Data Migration) to play a critical role in a multi-phase ERP transformation, supporting data migration into Sage X3 and driving business requirements across cross-functional teams.
This fully remote
IT Business Analyst (Data Migration) role runs MondayFriday, 8:30 AM5:00 PM EST (40 hours/week, 12-hour unpaid lunch), with a targeted start date of March 9, 2026 (or sooner).
IT Business Analyst (Data Migration) Responsibilities - Lead data migration requirements from multiple legacy systems (including E21 and homegrown platforms) into Sage X3 ERP
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and data requirements
- Define data mapping, transformation rules, validation processes, and data quality controls
- Document current-state and future-state processes; identify gaps and process improvements
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, Finance, Procurement, and Warehouse Operations stakeholders
- Develop and execute unit and functional test cases; validate migration results
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements
- Support business case development and ERP implementation roadmap
- Provide third-level production support and assist with training sessions
- Ensure alignment with architectural standards and SDLC best practices
IT Business Analyst (Data Migration) Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5+ years of hands-on business or systems analysis experience
- Proven expertise in data migration / ETL processes, ERP implementations, and data mapping
- Experience migrating legacy systems into a new ERP environment (Sage X3 strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of data structures, data quality, and migration risk mitigation
- 3 - 5 years of experience with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and requirements-gathering skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have: - Sage X3 experience (highly desirable)
- SQL experience
- Experience in Sales Operations, Accounting, Finance, Procurement, or Warehouse Operations
- ERP solution selection and implementation experience
