Job DetailsThis role provides mechanical design support for building systems, with a focus on HVAC, across government and private-sector projects such as aerospace, biopharma and mission critical facilities. You'll work alongside Project Managers while taking responsibility for the quality of your own designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design building mechanical systems, primarily HVAC, for government and private-sector facilities including aerospace, biopharma and mission critical sites
- Apply building codes to produce designs that are compliant and can be defended
- Prepare accurate design documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Confirm design decisions through research, code review and technical analysis, including design calculations
- Coordinate with Project Managers and own the quality of your design deliverables
- Bring plumbing and fire protection knowledge into designs where it applies
Needed:
- Experience in mechanical design of building HVAC systems
- Background in building code compliance for mechanical design
- Experience with plumbing and fire protection design
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
