BI Reporting Analyst III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst III to join their team in Mountain View, CA.

Summary:
We are seeking a self-starter who can own projects end-to-end in the Sales Data Science team supporting Money Sales. This person is a self-starter, is able to work effectively independently, and translates complex data into clear, actionable business insights that drive sales decisions.

Responsibilities:
* Analytical and critical thinking: Frame ambiguous business questions and structure them into rigorous, answerable analyses
* Data storytelling and executive communication: Distill findings into compelling narratives tailored to senior stakeholders
* Problem solving and decision support: Translate analysis into recommendations that inform sales strategy and execution
* Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy and integrity across data, reporting, and deliverables
* Cross-functional collaboration: Partner effectively with sales, ops, and data stakeholders
* Simplification: Reduce complex data into insights the business can act on

Responsibilities:
* Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting, visualizations, and dashboards to deliver business insights
* Manage a repository of reusable data visualization templates and views
* Proactively discover and improve data sources, and build pipelines or perform ETL when needed
* Gather, clean, consolidate, and productionalize large datasets from our databases to support dashboards and the team's analytics needs
* Design and analyze A/B tests using test-and-control methodologies, and perform performance attribution to measure impact
* Perform ad hoc analyses as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:
* Undergraduate degree preferred Computer Science/Management Information Systems or related field desired
* Experience developing visualization solutions in BI tools; Tableau or Qlik Sense helpful
* Advanced SQL with data warehouses (Databricks, Redshift, SparkSQL, Athena), including segmentation and aggregation from scratch; high proficiency preferred; Python a plus
* Experience using AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools. (Claude/Cursor)
* Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities under strict deadlines, and to scale and build AI-enabled solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
