Title: Infrastructure Project Manager (ONLY W2)

Job Description
The Project Manager will support infrastructure and security modernization initiatives across enterprise environments including server, network, cloud, endpoint, identity, and core platform services. The role requires coordination across infrastructure, security, operations, application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee initiatives that enhance infrastructure platforms, improve resiliency, reduce risk exposure, and align technology environments with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements. The role includes managing project lifecycle activities, maintaining documentation, monitoring risks, and ensuring compliance with governance and change management processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT leadership to confirm priorities and manage infrastructure and security project portfolios.
- Lead infrastructure and security projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Develop project charters, scope statements, milestones, and success criteria.
- Define and track business and technical requirements aligned with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, operations, applications, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress using enterprise tools and provide status reporting and executive updates.
- Maintain documentation including schedules, risk registers, issue logs, and decision records.
- Identify risks and dependencies and escalate critical issues with mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance and change management processes.
- Support audit readiness and coordinate documentation and remediation activities.
- Assist in development of policies, procedures, standards, and training materials.
- Maintain visibility and reporting across modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare needs analyses, business cases, and feasibility studies.
- Manage communication plans and stakeholder reporting.
- Coordinate change requests and recommend specification adjustments.
- Assist with quality management planning and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT initiatives
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN fundamentals
- 3+ years of experience with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or comparable frameworks (NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, CIS Controls)
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- 3+ years of experience with Active Directory
- 3+ years of experience with Endpoint Management platforms
- 2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, and/or Excel
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with security or infrastructure project management within the public sector
- Experience with IT security and compliance requirements related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS
- PMP Certification (Active)
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
