Electrical Engineer that will contribute to full lifecycle engineering efforts, including concept development, detailed design, integration, and verification of electrical and electronic hardware for the
Test Instrumentation & Lethal Mechanisms (TI&LM) Portfolio. This position will be based onsite at Leidos in Huntsville, AL.
The TI&LM portfolio specializes in the design, development, production and test of various electronic fuzing, telemetry and flight data acquisition products for DoD and Aerospace customers. This is a full-time,
fast-paced, high-visibility position that offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and directly impact mission-critical technologies.
Primary Responsibilities. - Design, develop, and test analog and digital circuits and systems
- Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and validation testing
- Support printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) design, layout coordination, and bring-up activities
- Support system integration and troubleshooting of hardware issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical solutions
- Analyze test data and recommend design improvements
- Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and reporting
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field w/ 4-8 years of relevant experience; or Master's with 2+ years
- Experience with circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting PCBA design, layout coordination, and/or board bring-up
- Familiarity with both analog and digital design principles
- Ability to work independently and contribute to technical decision-making
- Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD Clearance in the future as needed. (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Huntsville Alabama
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Electronic Safe and Arm Fuzes (ESAF) or similar safety-critical electronic systems
- Experience with RF systems or Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Proficiency in hardware design and development tools
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for analysis/automation
- Familiarity with VHDL or FPGA-based design
- Experience supporting product development or system integration
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, noise reduction, and system performance

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
