Job Summary 
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Architect with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Terraform, Cloud Transformation, and Modernization initiatives within the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will design scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure-based data platforms supporting underwriting, claims, policy, and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-grade data solutions on Microsoft Azure

• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives (on-prem to Azure)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

• Architect solutions using Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Databricks

• Design ETL/ELT frameworks for insurance data (policy, claims, underwriting, billing)

• Establish data governance, security, compliance, and best practices

• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and business stakeholders

• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of Azure data platforms

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong data architecture background

• 5+ years of experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Proven experience in cloud migration, transformation, and modernization programs

• Strong SQL and data modeling expertise

• Insurance domain experience (P&C preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with Guidewire / Duck Creek platforms

• Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect / Data Engineer)

• Experience in enterprise data warehouse modernization
