JOB SUMMARYReporting to Ethicon Purchased Raw Material Senior PP&L Manager, the Supply Chain Departmental Data Lead (DDL) is responsible for coordinating data-related activities, ensuring data quality, and leveraging data to improve departmental performance. Represents the Ethicon Wound Closure and Biosurgery North America Purchased Raw Material (PRM) Team. Act as a subject matter expert in data analytics and lead initiatives to enhance data management and analysis within PRM department. This role works closely with business stakeholders and data teams to understand reporting needs, transform raw data into relevant insights, and enable data-driven decision-making.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1. Data Ownership & Governance- Maintains master data in accordance with the Data Operations policies and procedures for the Master Data Governance for the franchise.
- Coordinate the day-to-day changes and new set ups for master data into the required systems.
- Responsible for orchestrating activities for the creation and maintenance of master data.
- Partner with the enterprise Data Operations team to ensure data completeness and consistency across all supply chain-related datasets.
- Verify that data load was performed and change is reflected correctly in the appropriate systems.
- Develop and implement data strategies that align with departmental and organizational goals.
2. SAP Data Management & Proposals- Initiate and lead Agile Requests (proposals) for changes to SAP S/4HANA setups, such as new materials and changes to existing materials.
- Perform pre-work evaluations and validations prior to submitting or reviewing proposals, based on type and complexity.
- Actively participate in multi-functional discussions to prioritize data management activities and ensure robust processes and business continuity including Base Business and Project Teams.
3. Process Expertise & Functional Support- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for PRM area within SAP, addressing data-related questions and providing process guidance to peers and project teams.
- Provide input on process optimization, system design, and end-to-end planning with a data-centric approach.
4. Data Quality, Cleansing & Migration- Support data cleansing, migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts during SAP projects and system upgrades.
- Validate data integrity during mock loads, testing cycles, and final cutover activities.
5. Analytics, Insights & Reporting- Design, build, create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to Purchased Raw Materials and related supply chain metrics.

Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain operations or planning preferably in master data, operations, or multi-functional business environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Solid understanding of MS Excel functions.
Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
Previous experience with SQL Server database and SQL queries.
Experience connecting to multiple data sources (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, SQL, SAP).
