Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead AI and Machine Learning initiatives from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will bridge business objectives, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of AI solutions on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Oversight
- Understand AI/ML concepts and the end-to-end AI lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Coordinate data readiness activities and model evaluation processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing business systems and workflows.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Align project priorities with business objectives and strategic goals.
AI Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Support AI governance frameworks and risk management practices.
- Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and manage AI roadmaps and implementation strategies.
- Prioritize AI initiatives based on business value and organizational impact.
- Drive data-driven decision-making and innovation across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong data literacy and analytical thinking.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML lifecycle methodologies (e.g., CPMAI).
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving AI technologies and business needs.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Understanding of version control systems and data workflow management.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing AI/ML or data-driven projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
