Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to work on enhancing an existing ASP.NET web application. This is a short-term contract role with potential for future work on additional projects. The primary focus will be on making updates and improvements to an older web application built using the Microsoft .NET framework. Familiarity with .NET Core is a plus, as future projects may involve more modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and modify an existing ASP.NET web application to meet changing business requirements.
  • Perform SQL Server database programming and write efficient queries.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and deliver updates in a timely manner.
  • Provide input on potential future projects using .NET Core, depending on experience.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with ASP.NET and C#.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server for database programming.
  • Ability to work on legacy applications and enhance them based on current business needs.
  • Familiarity with MVC design patterns.
  • .NET Core experience is a plus, though not required.

Additional Information:

  • The role is initially focused on a short-term project to be completed by the end of the year.
  • Potential for future involvement in projects using newer technologies like .NET Core if the candidate performs well.

Salary/Rate: $60-$65/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
