Summary

SEC Energy is a single-source provider of natural gas compression equipment, parts and services to all segments of the oil & gas industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:
  • Analyze/Validate all Services and Warranty job costs for accuracy before invoicing and project closure
  • Establish/Maintain dashboards for Services and Warranty Depts. to report Financial and KPI metrics
  • Create/maintain a system for standardize quoting templates for all SEC Service jobs.
  • Facilitate all warranty related issues and direct traffic within SEC to address warranty claims
  • Must have thorough understanding of SECs warranty policies, procedures and contractual terms and conditions related to warranty for equipment sold.
  • Ability to gather facts, data, and information necessary to make informed decisions on warranty claims
  • Open W.O.s in SAP when necessary to capture costs of repairs for warranty related issues.
  • Create and maintain folders for each warranty job to include all information related to the issue and corrective action taken. This will include details on work performed, costs associated to making repairs, email correspondence related to the job, daily work reports, claims/credit memos from OEMs and invoices to responsible party.
  • Maintain all warranty documents/data within Quality Issue Reporting System.
  • Coordinate corrective action plans with customers, Field service area managers, and OEMs to address warranty related issues
  • Must have thorough understanding of OEM warranty policies and warranty claim procedures.
  • Submit warranty claims to OEMs, and coordinate defective parts returns to the OEMS for warranty claim processing.
  • Maintain communication with OEMs on open warranty claims until credits are issued to SEC.
  • Follow up with accounting to verify credit memos are applied to the correct warranty jobs.
  • Receive warranty registration documentation from commissioning personnel, review for accuracy/completeness and submit to OEMs.
  • Update technical training progression plans for each service technician as milestones are reached
  • Maintain documentation/vehicle registrations/Element cards for services dept. in support and maintenance of vehicles. Keep track of and condition of Service dept. vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist Service Area Managers with administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8 years in the compression manufacturing/service industry
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Must be able to foster and maintain excellent relationships with customers. Complete understanding of company's warranty, product manufactured, and detailed knowledge of customer contract.
  • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations that may not be addressed by existing policies, procedures or protocols. Decisions include such matters as changes of policies and regulations, order in which work is done, and application of established procedures.
Preferrred:
  • 3-5 years' experience in warranty administration preferred
  • 1-3 years in KPI/Metrics reporting preferred
  • Experience in Power BI software is preferred
  • Previous experience in SAP/Oracle Based Work order management system is preferred
Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Work within office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
