Our client, a leader in the energy and power generation industry, is seeking a Project Manager III to join their team.
As a Project Engineering Manager (Engineering Project Lead), you will play a critical technical leadership role within the engineering and project execution organization, supporting complex power generation and Balance of Plant (BOP) projects with significant technical and commercial visibility.
This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical, electrical, or project engineer who enjoys owning engineering execution, leading multidisciplinary technical teams, and acting as the technical authority with customers and EPC partners.

What's the Job?
- Own and lead the engineering execution of Balance of Plant (BOP) scope from contract signature through project completion.
- Act as the technical owner of assigned projects, ensuring engineering deliverables meet contractual, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, vendors, subcontractors) to manage technical risks and opportunities.
- Interface closely with proposal management, sourcing, manufacturing, installation teams, and customers to drive technical alignment.
- Evaluate the technical, schedule, and cost impact of customer-requested scope changes.
- Serve as the technical front-line leader during customer and EPC meetings, resolving complex engineering challenges.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent STEM field).
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in engineering project execution within industrial, power generation, or EPC environments.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, and power plant or industrial infrastructure.
- Experience leading engineering scope in a matrix organization across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently represent engineering in customer-facing environments.
