The consultant will also provide network support for other partner products such as Charles River, Bloomberg, and State Street Bank. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that monitoring and alerting are automated across core connectivity infrastructure, with failover as a first line of defense, and ensuring successful automatic transition to alternate connectivity paths in the event of a failure.

The consultant will provide formal documentation in the event of a critical failure and prioritize BlackRock Aladdin relative to other applications during a critical failure.

The consultant will also be responsible for Level III support in managing enterprise data networks and will be involved in the planning and design of SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and other newer and more secure technologies.

The contract manager will schedule knowledge transfer sessions at regular intervals to ensure that all work production details have been documented and the knowledge has been transferred to state personnel. Knowledge transfer will take place through regularly scheduled meetings that include review, cross-training, and job shadowing.

The consultant will perform all functions in a fully remote capacity, primarily within the hours of 4:00 AM 1:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday. Additionally, the consultant will be required to be on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays in the event of a critical application/service outage.
