This Role
Our team is currently seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS Analyst based out of Grand Rapids, MI; Detroit, MI: or Vacaville, CA office. The position would be expected to be in the office 3 days per week.
What You Will Do
The Senior Oracle EBS Analyst (Oracle EBS R12) will serve as a business technical analyst with functional knowledge, driving ERP enhancements and projects. The primary focus of this position will be to assist the business across all areas. This position is responsible for providing solutions and enterprise enablement for the business of Oracle EBS.
How You Will Do It
- Responsible for functionality and process quality of Oracle EBS implementation/improvement project life cycles.
- Working closely with business leaders to understand their business needs and requirements and translate requirements and needs into IT actions.
- Conduct customer/project workshops and perform business process analysis, map-gap fit assessments, develop detailed designs, implement, troubleshoot, and test Oracle EBS solutions that meet user requirements.
- Develop and deliver documentation to ensure smooth user adoption and successful ongoing operation of the system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and Oracle support if needed to deliver quick resolution.
- Work closely with the internal team, vendors, and the business in tracking, testing, and closing Enhancement CRs and incidents.
- Participate in the change management process including development of a change, testing and validation.
- Collaborate with project managers, business owners, and stakeholders to determine scope and vision and then work with technical team on alignment for how their objectives are enabled through technology solutions.
- Create process flows, use cases, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and project team.
- Provide guidance and lead business users during UAT to ensure optimal test coverage.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent with a minimum of 12 years IT experience, including Oracle experience.
- Expertise and understanding of key concepts in various oracle modules for integrated testing, design validations and setups of the Oracle ERP applications (R12) as well as an understanding of Oracle EBS architecture.
- Experience in requirements gathering, mapping the requirement to Oracle EBS, Solution design and System testing.
- Ability to conduct research using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience working with upgrade projects, user requirements gathering, solution design and configuration of modules is required.
- Demonstrated communication skills working with diverse business units, managers, technologies, support team, clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups.
- Previous experience working with multiple manufacturing environments.
- Current U.S. work authorization without requiring future visa sponsorship.
- Oracle EBS Technical Skills
- Core Development: Mastery of SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write complex stored procedures, packages, and performance-tuned queries.
- RICEW Development: Extensive experience in the full development lifecycle of RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflows).
- API Development: Expertise in the Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) for exposing PL/SQL APIs and Java beans as REST or SOAP Web Services.
- EDI Integrations: Expertise in managing third-party provider relationships and mapping standard transaction sets (EDI 850, 855, 856, 810, 753) into Oracle EBS via XML file processing.
- SOA Integrations: Proficiency in developing Oracle SOA Suite 12c composites (BPEL, Mediators) and utilizing the Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) to orchestrate data flow between external providers and EBS APIs.
- EBS Toolset: Proficiency in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher (XML Publisher) for customized business document generation.
- Workflow & Security: Deep knowledge of Oracle Workflow Builder and Application Object Library (AOL) for managing concurrent programs, value sets, and responsibilities.
- Data Migration: Expertise in data conversion and migration utilizing SQL*Loader, FNDLOAD, and Web ADI.
- Personalization: Advanced skills in Form Personalizations and OAF Personalizations to meet business requirements without modifying core code.
- Web Frameworks: Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for extending standard web pages and developing custom web-based interfaces.
- Linux/Unix Scripting: Basic ability to write shell scripts for automating file movements, scheduling cron jobs, and managing server-side concurrent request outputs.
- Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with transitioning or co-existing with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Fusion Applications.
