We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team a Municipal Lead. This is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic individual with a robust engineering background and proven leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing municipal engineering projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply and enhance your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.
  • Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and review engineering plans and drawings.
  • Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of municipal engineering services.
  • Participate in meeting with clients to discuss project plans and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management.
  • Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, practices, and methods.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
