We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bluetooth Software\\nPerformance Lead Engineer to lead a team of performance engineers and spearhead\\nthe optimization of software design across Apple's latest product lines, including the\\nnext generation of iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Mac, and more. In this role,\\nyou will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership to shape performance\\nstrategy and drive results from early prototyping through productization.

As a lead member of the Connectivity Firmware Performance team, you will be\nresponsible for guiding and mentoring a team of Bluetooth performance engineers,\nsetting technical direction, and ensuring the successful execution of performance\nevaluation initiatives. You will define performance strategies at a system and product\nlevel, aligning engineering efforts with product goals and Apple's high standards for\nquality.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\nDeep expertise in Bluetooth protocols and wireless system architecture\nExperience leading or technically mentoring engineers on complex, cross-functional projects\nStrong background in RF, digital signal processing, and wireless communications\nProficiency in Python, including hands-on use of data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for large-scale data manipulation, analysis, and visualization

Experience with power and performance trade-off analysis at system and product levels\nBackground in applying AI/ML techniques to wireless performance problems\nExperience across multiple layers of wireless system architecture (PHY, MAC, host stack, application)\nTrack record of driving performance improvements from prototype through mass production\nAbility to navigate ambiguous problems and adjust strategies as new data and constraints emerge\nStrong sense of ownership with the ability to drive efforts to resolution under tight schedules\nMaster's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred
