Description
One of our Healthcare customers is seeking an experienced Security Engineer II to support and mature our cloud security environment, with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto Prisma Cloud. This is a critical hire on a growing security engineering team responsible for strengthening cloud, endpoint, and network security across the enterprise.
Prisma Cloud was implemented within the last year by a third-party integrator and is operational, but still requires optimization and alignment to best practices-especially across GlobalProtect, SaaS posture management, and data loss prevention (DLP). This engineer will play a key role in stabilizing and maturing the environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the engineering, administration, and optimization of Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, including:
o GlobalProtect
o SaaS security modules
o DLP and policy management
Evaluate and implement best practices for cloud and endpoint security tools.
Partner with cross-functional teams (security architecture, SOC, offshore/onshore engineers) to improve detection, performance, and overall security posture.
Support and enhance additional security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Swivel, and other enterprise security platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated security engineering issues.
Participate in maturing security controls, documentation, and operational processes.
Collaborate closely with technical leaders, including the Principal Architect, on architectural decisions and long-term strategy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience optimizing a newly stood-up cloud security tool or maturing an environment post-implementation.
Experience in healthcare, highly regulated environments, or enterprise cloud ecosystems.
Strong communication skills and ability to participate in both technical and non-technical discussions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
