Position Overview for the Data Engineer/Informatica Specialist:
  • Serve as the primary administrator and technical lead for the Informatica ecosystem within a government agency.
  • Manage platform uptime, vendor escalations, and patch/versioning communications for Informatica environments.
  • Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines for ingesting transactional and metadata into Snowflake and Informatica environments.
  • Ensure high-availability and security standards for sensitive data handling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and support ongoing data initiatives.

Requirements for the Data Engineer/Informatica Specialist:
  • Active Informatica Certification (e.g., Informatica Certified Professional in Cloud Data Integration).
  • Absolute eligibility to pass FTI (Federal Tax Information), and CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) background checks.
  • Extensive experience managing Informatica environments as the lead administrator.
  • Proven track record developing ETL/ELT pipelines into Informatica environments.
  • Strong background in data engineering with several years of experience, including hands-on expertise with platform operations.
