Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in React Native, AWS, and Java/Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for mobile application development while working closely with backend, cloud, architecture, QA, and product teams.

The candidate should have strong experience designing scalable mobile solutions, leading development teams, integrating Java-based backend services, and leveraging AWS cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to React Native and backend development teams.
• Define application architecture, technical standards, coding practices, and development best practices.
• Develop and integrate Java/Spring Boot REST APIs and microservices with mobile applications.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Identify technical risks and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot complex application, API, integration, and production issues.
• Lead performance optimization for mobile applications and backend services.
• Ensure proper implementation of authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure API communication.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD processes for mobile and backend applications.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance on React Native, Java, AWS, and application architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, and architecture reviews.
• Coordinate with distributed teams and ensure timely delivery of technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile application development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience developing applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Experience with AWS services such as:
  • AWS Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • S3
  • DynamoDB / RDS
  • CloudWatch
  • ECS / EKS
  • SNS / SQS
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with state management and React Native application optimization.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience leading development teams and conducting technical/code reviews.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS serverless architecture.
• Experience with Microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS, or SQS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and API security.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with mobile application performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of automated testing using Jest, React Native Testing Library, JUnit, or similar tools.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
