Job Description ::
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with CA IDEAL and CA Datacom in mainframe environments.
- Proven expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications using ideal/Datacom.
- Strong coding and testing experience in IDEAL/DATACOM and COBOL/CICS/DTACOM combinations.
- Experience in production support and maintenance.
- Experience with JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, and batch processing in a mainframe environment.
- Knowledge of Datacom QDRY and DB utilities, along with performance tuning expertise.
- Experience in mainframe testing tools, version controllers and job schedulers, such as Xpeditor, Endevor, Control-M etc.
- Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and non-technical users.
Preferred:
- Experience with modernization of legacy systems, including migrations or integrations with more modern platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
